Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Evaluate existing or forthcoming processes and provide recommendations on software to support or improve the process.

• Work with other employees and clients to establish functional requirements for applications and interface utilities.
• Design and document practical test plans for applications and utilities which relate to established business needs.
• Create and integrate applications and utilities to address a variety of needs.
• Design and create lucid training and support documentation for applications and utilities.
• Support and perform the functional and performance testing of applications and utilities.
• Effectively communicate the results of any diagnosis or testing to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Safely implement new or changed applications and interface utilities in the production environment.
• Diagnose production problems in existing proprietary applications and utilities as they are encountered.
• Rapidly provide "work around" solutions for immediate production problems in existing applications and utilities.
• Design and code modifications to proprietary applications and utilities which prevent the reoccurrence of problems encountered.
• Administer and maintain selected commercial software interacting with existing applications and utilities.
