As a Sr. Lead/Developer .Net, you will spend 25% of your time in project management and mentoring, 25% working on infrastructure and interfacing with the business departments, and 50% of your time coding.... As a lead, you will be responsible for 4-5 other developers as they work with you on the assigned projects.
Relocation is provided with a salary in the 85 - 95k range along with an exceptional employee benefits package.

Sr. .Net Developer
Description of position
This individual will play a key role on the E-Commerce Application Development team. They will participate in and lead architecture sessions, design sessions, and code development for various projects to support e-Commerce business area. They will be asked to play the role of development lead on projects, ensuring our SDLC is followed and the required artifacts are produced.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
· Responsible for developing an extensive E-Commerce site for Fortune 50 Company; including robust, multi-user software applications.
· Responsible for documenting business and system requirements for all work.
· Responsible for creating conceptual and detailed design documents (applications & database).
· Responsible for playing the lead developer role on development initiatives, including design sessions.
· Responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules).
· Responsible for the design of relational databases.
· Responsible for documenting and executing software test plans (unit and integration testing).
· Responsible for defining and implementing standards and best practices for software development.
· Responsible for supporting the service level agreements.
· Responsible for supporting the software development lifecycle and website's framework.
· Responsible for ensuring the maximum availability and quality of the website.
· Responsible for participating in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer.
· Responsible for being current on new technology and recommending them to the development teams.
· Responsible for supporting the needs and requirements of other I.S. departments.
· Provide 3rd-level support for production applications.
Qualifications
· 4+ years programming with .NET framework, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Web Services, C#, SOAP, and XML.
· 3+ years experience developing in distributed applications (OO & UML).
· 3+ years experience as a development lead on major projects, E-Commerce preferred.
· 4+ years experience writing conceptual and detailed design documents, including UML diagrams.
· 2+ years experience with Web and UI development using technologies such as: HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery or Silverlight.
· Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft development tools (Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET, Visual SourceSafe, TFS and VSTS).
· Experience testing complex applications and creating application and performance test scripts.
· Must have experience leading a formal software development lifecycle, including testing.
· Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written. Including ability to work with all management levels.
· Must have solid leadership and team-building skills, and possess a positive attitude.
· Must have high integrity and accountability, willing to do what it takes to make the team successful.
· Must have proven ability to manage priorities and timelines.
· Must have proven ability to provide project estimates and work-breakdown schedules.
