Position: Application Systems Engineer

Duration: 9 months contract

Location: San Francisco, CA  

Position Description:

Provide operational and development support for data integration project.  Work in Oracle, DB2, and Unix environments.  Strong SQL skills are a must.  Stored procedure and Unix shell script experience is preferred.  Assist with the batch loading and extracting of large data sets across system boundaries.  Optimize code for efficient performance in a high data volume environment.  Document, present, and defend all design decisions.

Required:

·         4 year degree plus 7-10 years experience

·         Must have Strong DB2 Development and Oracle Development experience.

·         ETL experience

·         Strong Unix Shell Scripting experience

·         Great communication skills
