Description:

• Excellent communications skills required.
• Demonstrated experience in converting standard long file or website help guides into sharepoint standards.
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated hands-on experience with the deployment, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint technologies (MOSS, SPS, WSS)

Project experience with MOSS required including:

• SharePoint Designer
• InfoPath forms
• Workflow
• Business Data Catalog
• Excel Services

Microsoft Certifications in SharePoint highly preferred

Additional experience in these technologies preferred:

• Design Skills (Process Flow, Data Flow, ERD)
• Microsoft Visual Basic .Net or C#
• JavaScript/VBScript / HTML/DHTML
• Database Skills (Microsoft SQL Server, ADO, T-SQL, Stored Procedures)
• IIS Admin
• XML/XSLT
• Microsoft SQL Server Administration

Responsibilities:

• Consult with customer to gather and document requirements and develop system configuration.
• Prepare for and actively participate in client meetings
• Understand business processes and how technology enables those processes
• Design and implement business solutions using SharePoint Technologies
• Design and develop data conversion/migration strategies and programs
• Train end users to use new business applications
• Lead small project teams

 
This engineering role is expected to provide expertise, support and proof of concept on Microsoft SharePoint infrastructure.

• Self-motivated with ability to set & meet deadlines on multiple projects without frequent supervision
• Able to prepare weekly status reports, as well as reports for technical and business managers
• Detailed knowledge of networking concepts (ie, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
• Coordinate implementation of systems based on customer requirements.
• Provide service to demanding, expert users and developers.
